I will write about Tsukuba Express for ten weeks.
This post is first week.
First,I will explain overview of Tsukuba Express.
Name of "Tsukuba Express" is due to the general public.
Although most applicants were "Tsukuba line",
it was not adopted or from the distinction between the railway line Tsukuba.
So,Tsukuba Express is abbreviated as "TX",because route name is very long length.
TX was opened on August 24, 2005.
The ground segment is a structure or trench all elevated, there is no crossing.
Operation is performed at a high speed and 130km/h top speed and (125km/h normal), connected for 45 minutes between Tsukuba and Akihabara.
Its speed is fastest 58.3km.
Next,I will introduce mascot character of TX.
It name is "Speefy"and was born on December 1, 2004.
His body is made of aluminum alloy, and he have a green eye feature the representation of the symbiosis with green along.
He is very cheerful, and has a power that can be run at 130 km per hour.

"Speefy" is named by the general public of the women living in Tsukuba out of the total 13,857 applicants on the review a draft .
